I had such a pleasant stay at this hotel in the mountains, surrounded by lovely views. The staff were extremely polite and went above and beyond to help us, especially Hiro who even assisted us with the dangerous snowy conditions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a choice of bedding. I loved waking up to the beautiful snowy slopes outside my window. The hotel also provided great amenities, like a tea set and wooden block arrangement game. The onsen was a highlight, especially in the winter.
Nothing could be improved, everything was fantastic!

Nestled in the idyllic countryside, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Yudaki falls and mountains, making it an ideal spot for a serene getaway. the rooms are spacious and cozy with Japanese style water boilers and complimentary yukatas. the onsen and souvenir shop are well equipped with different lotions and chocolates unique to the area.
The shuttle service to the nearby town runs only once per day, making it inconvenient wanting to explore more than the hotel surroundings.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Nikko. the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. They may not have spoken much English, but they were still very friendly and made an effort to interact with us. Secondly, the hotel offered excellent value for money, with affordable prices for both the rooms and the on-site hot springs. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot springs, which were clean and well-maintained. Lastly, the location of the hotel in the mountains provided stunning views from our room, adding to the overall experience. The breakfast options were also commendable, with a good variety of both Japanese and Western food to choose from.
Nothing to improve, everything was perfect.

Great food and lovely staff. The onsen was amazing and the outdoor area was tranquil. Beautiful location near hiking trails and scenic lake. The spacious room with tatami flooring and tea service was a nice touch.
The room was a bit dated and in need of renovations. The bathroom was small and outdated.
